In Linz stehen zahlreiche Gebäude und Flächen ungenutzt leer – während gleichzeitig Räume für junge, unabhängige Kulturangebote fehlen. Wir fordern eine aktive, gemeinwohlorientierte Raumpolitik:
→ Bestehender Leerstand soll gezielt für kulturelle Nutzungen aktiviert werden.
→ Zwischennutzungen müssen vereinfacht, entfristet und unterstützt werden.
→ Die Stadt soll proaktiv Kulturakteur:innen mit verfügbaren Räumen zusammenbringen.
In Linz, countless buildings and spaces sit unused – while at the same time, spaces for young, independent cultural initiatives are missing.
We demand an active, community-oriented spatial policy:
→ Existing vacancies must be purposefully activated for cultural use.
→ Temporary uses need to be simplified, extended, and actively supported.
→ The city should proactively connect cultural actors with available spaces.
Linz braucht einen Ort, der Clubkultur dauerhaft beherbergen kann → Ein zentraler, inklusiver Raum mit Infrastruktur für Veranstaltungen, Technik, Lagerung und Austausch.
→ Offen für Kollektive, junge Veranstalter:innen, Kunst- und Musikschaffende.
Linz needs a place that can permanently host club culture.
→ A central, inclusive space with infrastructure for events, technical needs, storage, and exchange.
→ Open to collectives, young organizers, artists, and musicians.
Die freie Nutzung öffentlicher oder halböffentlicher Außenflächen ist essenziell für vielfältige Kulturangebote im Sommer:
→ Wir fordern ausgewiesene Flächen für temporäre Open-Air-Events.
→ Die rechtliche Unsicherheit bei der Nutzung von Parks, Plätzen und Industrieflächen muss beendet werden.
→ Es braucht klare, transparente Regelungen statt Verbote und restriktiver Verwaltung.
Free access to public and semi-public outdoor spaces is essential for diverse cultural offerings in the summer:
→ We demand designated areas for temporary open-air events.
→ The legal uncertainty around using parks, squares, and industrial sites must end.
→ We need clear, transparent regulations – not bans and restrictive bureaucracy.
Viele junge Menschen scheitern an überkomplexen Genehmigungsprozessen:
→ Wir fordern eine Entbürokratisierung und Vereinfachung von Veranstaltungsanmeldungen.
→ Informations- und Beratungsangebote müssen ausgebaut werden.
→ Die Stadt soll Kulturakteur:innen bei Genehmigungen aktiv unterstützen.
Many young people fail due to complex approval processes:
→ We demand a reduction of bureaucracy and simplification of event registration.
→ Information and advisory services must be expanded.
→ The city should actively support cultural actors with approvals.
Clubkultur ist Kultur. Punkt. Doch sie wird bis heute häufig als „reine Freizeitbeschäftigung“ abgetan.
→ Wir fordern, dass Club- und Subkultur als gleichwertige Kulturform anerkannt wird – in Fördervergaben, öffentlichen Debatten und politischen Prozessen.
→ Förderinstrumente müssen an die spezifischen Realitäten von Clubkultur angepasst werden (z. B. kurzfristige Formate, kollektive Organisation, Nachtzeiten etc.).
→ Auch die strukturelle Förderung (z. B. Vereinsbasisfinanzierung) muss Clubkultur einbeziehen.
Club culture is culture. Period. Yet it is still often dismissed as “mere leisure activity.”
→ We demand that club and subculture be recognized as equal cultural forms – in funding allocations, public debates, and political processes.
→ Funding instruments must be adapted to the specific realities of club culture (e.g., short-term formats, collective organization, nighttime activities, etc.).
→ Structural support (e.g., association-based funding) must also include club culture.
Club- und Nachtkultur muss ein Ort sein, an dem Menschen ohne Angst, Diskriminierung oder Einschränkungen gemeinsam feiern, tanzen und gestalten können.
→ Wir fordern die verbindliche Implementierung von Awareness-Standards in der gesamten Clubszene.
→ Räume müssen aktiv FLINTA*, BIPoC, queere und weitere marginalisierte Perspektiven mitdenken – in Organisation, Booking, Türpolitik und Awareness-Strukturen.
→ Inklusion ist kein Nice-to-have, sondern Voraussetzung für echte kulturelle Vielfalt.
Club and nightlife culture must be a place where people can come together to celebrate, dance, and create – without fear, discrimination, or exclusion.
→ We demand the binding implementation of awareness standards throughout the entire club scene.
→ Spaces must actively include FLINTA*, BIPoC, queer, and other marginalized perspectives – in organization, bookings, door policies, and awareness practices.
→ Inclusion is not a nice-to-have – it’s a foundation for real cultural diversity.
Der offizielle Kulturentwicklungsplan der Stadt Linz darf Club- und Nachtkultur nicht länger ignorieren.
→ Wir fordern, dass Clubkultur im neuen Kulturentwicklungsplan explizit als eigenständiges Handlungsfeld auftaucht.
→ Ziele, Maßnahmen und Ressourcen müssen auch für Clubkultur mitgedacht werden.
→ Die Clubszene soll aktiv in die Planung und Umsetzung eingebunden werden.
The official cultural development plan of the city of Linz must no longer ignore club and nightlife culture.
→ We demand that club culture be explicitly recognized as an independent field of action in the new cultural development plan.
→ Goals, measures, and resources must also include club culture.
→ The club scene should be actively involved in the planning and implementation processes.
